Euthanized Dog Reportedly Found With Large Holes in Body After Boarding at Vet Deserves Justice

Target: Williamson County, Texas Attorney Doyle Hobbs Jr.

Goal: Give veterinarian who allegedly allowed animals to be boarded in filthy conditions prison sentence and do not allow her to continue practicing.

An English bulldog, named Jax, allegedly had to be euthanized after it was reported he developed serious sores all over his body while he was being boarded at a local veterinary clinic. Dr. Dana R. Boehm, the veterinarian who owns the practice, needs to spend time in prison if it is determined that this innocent animal died because he did not receive proper care while staying at her facility.

Jax’s owners claimed that some of the sores found on his body had penetrated through his skin. He was also reportedly covered in urine and was not able to walk when they picked him up. Although Jax’s owners rushed him to another veterinary hospital to immediately get help, Jax’s injuries were allegedly so severe he had to be euthanized. After the alleged incident took place, authorities thoroughly searched the veterinary hospital and reportedly found feces and urine everywhere as well as clothes dripping in urine. Not only were the animals allegedly being housed in these dirty conditions, they were also said not to be provided with adequate food or water.

Although the animals were returned to their owners and Dr. Dana R. Boehm turned herself in to the police, Boehm was released on bail. Sign this petition to demand she be required to spend a long time behind bars and that she no longer be allowed to continue practicing as a veterinarian to better ensure other pets will be safe if she is found guilty of these horrific crimes.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear County Attorney Hobbs Jr.,

Dr. Dana Boehm was recently arrested after it was allegedly discovered that a healthy English bulldog, named Jax, had to be euthanized after being under her care. Dr. Boehm should not only be given the maximum amount of time in prison, but she should also get her veterinary license revoked if it is found that any animals died as a result of neglect.

Surveillance cameras appear to show that Jax was healthy when he was dropped off at the veterinary clinic. However, when his owners picked him up, they reportedly saw that Jax had a bunch of painful sores all over his body and that many of those sores had poked holes in his skin, some were apparently deep enough to expose bone or tendons. Although Jax was taken to get medical help at another nearby clinic, it was the opinion of the second veterinarian that he was suffering so badly, Jax had to be euthanized. When officials searched the building, they reported finding syringes that were not properly sealed, clothes that were soaked in urine, and a massive amount of waste that had not been cleaned up. Additionally, it was said that none of the animals boarding at the facility had been given sufficient water or food.

While it is good news that no other animals had to be euthanized and that they were all safely returned to their owners, Dr. Dana R. Boehm should also no longer be allowed to practice veterinary medicine, and she should be given the longest prison sentence possible if it is found she is responsible for Jax’s death, or for any other animals suffering while under her care.

Sincerely,

  1. Dr. Dana R. Boehm Must be prisoned and have her lisence revoked permanently!
If this happened to my dog, dr dana R Boehm would not be in any position to even make it to her court date.
There is jobplace in this world for subhumans like Dan R Boehm!

  2. There is no reason that any of these fur babies were not taken care of. Pet parents trust a vet to care for their fur babies not torture & kill them. This monster of a vet needs to be sentenced to prison! !Animals were placed here for humans to take care of then.
My heart aches for any animal that is harmed.

We are the voice of the voiceless. This dog can NOT speak fpr himself, neither can the other victims =(

  4. Carolyn Douglas says:

Released on bail???? She should be securely chained to a steel post in the middle of nowhere… no food, water, or shelter. Some well pleces punctures to her body and face would be a good thing.

She needs to be removed from society forever – a menace to animals and humans.. In my opinion

  5. What an incompetent vet and a horrible human to let these conditions become so awful that this poor bulldog had to be euthanized. I have dealt with some awful vets in the past, but at least my dogs did not die. This subhuman needs to lose her license, be jailed and never have any contact with any animal again. She was in the wrong profession and hopefully, she will be in prison for a long time

  6. Maria Bertrand says:

Dana R. Boehm does not deserve to be called a vet. The law better charge her with maximum charges of animal cruelty! Maximum prison time, hefty fines…I hope she becomes destitute! She should not be allowed to practice veterinary medicine or comes near another animal.

    I am so sorry Jax…..

  7. FRY THE BITCH AND THE ENTIRE STAFF!!🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥

Prison, revoke license permanently, & force payments to an animal rescue for life.

  9. The worst thing You can do for your pet is leave them with a total stranger, or a place YOU DIDNT CHECK OUT, OR CALL ANY PUBLIC AUTHORITY TO see if complaints were ever filed.just bcuz someone has a license doesnt make them qualified. Also your friends doing you a babysitting favor with no dog fencing is a dog soon to run out into traffic,-I saw that happen, owner was distraught and why did it happen, because the oner was too Stupid to preview the home or call a professional dog walker…..? Let’s finally take some personal responsibility for Our own Stupidity and learn how to put your Pets at #1 for their safety. Did you not smell the reek, coming from that boarding place, did you not take a Tour of it. THIS VET IS GOING TO JAIL, BUT THAT WONT FIX OR PREVENT MORE CRUELTY HAPPENING. Smarten up people,- your pets deserve your Best Self, every day.

  10. Pull her license, she is no doctor, she’s a flaming asshole that neglected a perfectly fine animal, what a BITCH!

  12. REVOKE THAT STUPID CUNTS LICENSE AND END THAT BITCHES LIFE!!

  13. Prosecute? Put holes in the fucker and kill them!!!

  14. Brenda Burke says:

I think we are all starting to realize that ‘Dr. Jeffs ‘ are few and far between. But this needs to be punished and hard.

  15. What?? This is beyond shocking! This evil, soulless monster MUST serve jail time and be BANNED from practicing or working with animals ever again. She has totally betrayed these defenseless animals and their unsuspecting families in the most horrific and sickening way. She’s ammonal and her acts are simply unforgivable. Lock her up!!

  16. If the dog was healthy, why was he boarded? Is this because the owners went on a vacation? If so, I hope your vacation was worth it while your dog was being boarded at a filthy vet’s office. If you really care about your pets you would leave them at a doggie daycare where they could be playing with other dogs and having a good time just like you! Do your research people! I would NEVER leave my dogs boarded up at a vets office. They’re usually left in a cage all day suffering and lonely. Maybe the owners need to suffer too along with the stupid Vet.

  17. Cindy Miller says:

This is just disgusting that animals must suffer through this kind of shit! If laws were strict this wouldn’t happen! But alot of judges
don’t give a shit about animals & this must change or we won’t have animals on this earth anymore!

  18. Some vets are not qualified to be called vets, they lack empathy. I had a vet who boarded animals in cages in the basement of her clinic. Almost always when I took my animals there, some dog was crying from loneliness. It was heart breaking. I just couldn’t understand how anyone who cares about animals would do that, but I tried to convince myself that I was being over sensitive. But I was right. Due to her lack of caring she missed a serious heart disease in my cat, he died a few months after the so called vet gave him bill of health.

  19. quinten putnam says:

RIP Jax I’m sorry things turned out this way for you…

  20. debra goldstein lustig says:

THIS BITCH WOULD NOT SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY IF THAT WERE MY DOG. PROSECUTE THIS SCUMBAG TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW
