Officers reportedly discovered the dog, Olivia, suffering from catastrophic facial trauma and extensive injuries reportedly caused by multiple projectiles.
Veterinary examinations apparently revealed fractures to Olivia’s jaw and nasal cavity, loss of one eye and several metal pellets embedded deep within the dog’s neck muscles. Authorities immediately arrested the two defendants and filed third-degree felony animal cruelty charges connected to the reported shooting.
