Cats Allegedly Burned and Disfigured in Repeated Attacks: Demand Justice

Target: Seo Sang-heon, Chief Prosecutor, Daejeon District Prosecutors’ Office, South Korea

Goal: Ensure strict prosecution of the individual allegedly responsible for repeatedly burning stray cats, leaving several dead due to severe injuries.

A deeply disturbing pattern has emerged involving multiple stray cats reportedly found with severe burn injuries. A suspect was arrested in connection with incidents in which cats were allegedly subjected to burns on their heads near a parking area. The injuries were reportedly so extreme that the animals’ eyes, noses, ears and paws were barely recognizable, and most died or were euthanized due to the severity of their condition.

According to reports, at least seven cats were discovered with similar burn injuries over several months in the same area. The repeated nature of these incidents appears to suggest a pattern of deliberate harm. Authorities initiated an investigation after complaints were filed, and based on the apparent pattern, investigators focused on a single suspect.

While some animal welfare groups suggested that chemical compounds may have been used, police believe the injuries were allegedly inflicted using a torch or open flame. The suspect has reportedly admitted to some of the allegations during police questioning. These alleged acts, if proven, indicate extreme suffering inflicted on vulnerable animals and raise serious concerns about ongoing risk to other animals.

Strong legal action is necessary to address such alleged cruelty and to deter any similar acts in the future. Ensuring accountability in this case is critical to uphold animal protection standards and public trust in enforcement.

PETITION LETTER:

Seo Sang-heon,

This petition addresses a series of deeply troubling incidents in which a suspect allegedly inflicted severe burn injuries on multiple stray cats. As reported, several animals were found with catastrophic injuries to their faces and limbs, and most died or were euthanized due to the extent of their suffering.

These alleged acts appear to reflect a sustained pattern of cruelty. Reports indicate that multiple cats were discovered over time in the same area with similar injuries, suggesting that the harm may have been repeatedly inflicted. The possibility that the injuries were inflicted using an open flame, as believed by investigators, further underscores the severity of the alleged acts.

We respectfully urge you to pursue the strongest possible legal action against the individual allegedly responsible. Holding the accused accountable under applicable laws will send a clear message that cruelty will not be tolerated and that vulnerable animals must be protected.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
