Goal: Thank House of Representatives for voting for the impeachment of President Trump.
President Donald Trump has been impeached for his years-long obstruction of Congress and abuse of power. While the day-long debate was marked with loud and impassioned statements from both sides, in the end the decision was passed to impeach the man who has made living in America a nightmare since 2016.
While this does not effectively end his reign of terror, and there will be a follow-up trial in January, it is nonetheless a relief to know that the House of Representatives agrees that Trump deserves the disgrace of impeachment for his horrible behavior as president. His “Make America Great Again” campaign was a ruse meant only to appease rich white men and fund dangerous fossil fuel companies. He lied to the many Americans who voted for him because they believed he would save them. He encouraged racism and hatred towards immigrants. Petitions such as this one have circulated demanding his impeachment.
Trump is no president, he is a corrupt authoritarian out for his own personal gain. Finally, the House has voted to take away his power. Sign this petition to thank them for their overwhelming votes to impeach this man.

Thank you for the House’s vote to impeach President Trump for his horrific crimes against democracy and this country. Despite the overblown confidence of the Republican party, the vote was overwhelming, and we are relieved to know that Trump has been disgraced as punishment for his abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
Ever since his unwarranted victory in 2016, Trump and his group have made life painful and dangerous for many of us in the United States. He has threatened to cut Social Security, enforced concentration camps for immigrants, and endangered the environment to fund his buddies at the gas and oil companies. However, he did hunt down immigrants, separate families, have children kept in cages, saying prejudiced things, allowing his sons to hunt and kill endangered animals, want to allow trophy imports from trophy hunting to be imported into the USA, and he was one of, if not the, the worst presidents in recent history for the environment. His impeachment could make things much better for Americans, animals, immigrants, women, the environment and others.
