In January 2023, he was charged with misdemeanor battery/family violence and felony false imprisonment by the university police department. He entered pretrial diversion for the battery charge, while the false imprisonment charge was dismissed due to insufficient evidence.

Too often our society excuses these pompous football heroes but then they are not charged and later they well may have destroyed the lives of kids such as in this case. He has been in trouble before but has not cleaned up his act and obviously beats up those he feels deserve his violence. No one deserves his violence or anyone’s violence. Charge him! Take him to court. Only through making people like this accountable in the news will alert other players not to fall into this trap of violence. We do have laws so use them! Our laws are there to protect the innocent not the guilty.
