Farm Animals Raised by Students and Reportedly Slaughtered by Axe Wielding Man Deserve Justice

Target: Joel Buckingham, District Attorney, Hollister, San Benito County, California, US

Goal: Ensure the accused faces full legal consequences for his alleged actions

In Hollister, Calif., a community was left in shock as a man reportedly trespassed into an agriculture barn and brutally ended the lives of two innocent farm animals with an axe. Allegations suggest that this heinous act involved the slaughter of a pig and a goat, both being raised by students of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) program for educational purposes. The incident, described as deeply disturbing, has not only taken away these animals but also a piece of the students’ hard work and dedication.

Details emerging from the investigation indicate that Anthony Madruga, aged 51, is the person accused of this barbaric crime. Students involved with the FFA program shared their horror upon discovering their animals in such a tragic state, highlighting the emotional toll beyond the immediate physical violence. One student recounted the trauma of finding their goat, Stetson, reportedly lying lifeless and bloodied, a sight described as devastating and unimaginably painful. Another student’s pig, reportedly injured in the assault, brings to light the cruelty of the attack and its lasting impact on those who cared for these animals.

This grievous incident raises serious questions about animal welfare and the safety of educational agricultural programs. It compels us to demand rigorous legal scrutiny and appropriate punishment for the accused, if found guilty, to prevent such atrocities from recurring. Justice for the reportedly slain and injured animals is paramount, alongside ensuring the protection of students’ endeavors in such valuable educational activities. Call upon the District Attorney to pursue this case with the utmost seriousness, ensuring that if found guilty, the perpetrator faces the full extent of the law.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Joel Buckingham,

The recent allegations against Anthony Madruga for the brutal slaughter of two farm animals in Hollister have stirred widespread outrage and sorrow within our community. Such acts of violence against defenseless animals, raised by students for educational purposes, are not only shocking but deeply traumatic for the youths involved. This reported incident not only robbed them of their animals but also of their sense of security and trust in the sanctity of their educational environment.

The details of this case, as reported, are particularly harrowing. A pig and a goat, months old and being prepared for show and auction, were apparent killed in an act of wanton violence. Students were left to discover the aftermath, a scenario no young person should ever face. These details, disturbing in their specificity, underline the necessity for a response that matches the gravity of the reported crime. It is imperative that our legal system acts decisively to address this wrongdoing, ensuring that the message is clear: such acts will not be tolerated.

We urge you to take swift and firm action in this case. The community looks to your office for justice and reassurance that safety and compassion remain paramount values in our society. We implore you to ensure that, if found guilty, the accused is held accountable to the fullest extent possible under the law. Our collective sense of justice and our commitment to the well-being of all community members, human and animal alike, depend on it.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  3. Wendy Morrison says:

Fond this CRUEL & ABUSIVE ASSHOLE & KILL HIM WITH A DULL AXE!!

  4. This istragic and disturbing,to prevent fuuire incidents the schools and farms need to add more security for their animals like barbed fencing locks, cameras, alarms and video so this stops happening.

  5. It’s BEYOND my comprehension how animal abuse is on the rise and NO ONE with authority is doing a damn thing. You don’t need to be an animal lover to enforce the law with stricter consequences!! It’s such Bullshit! It’s heart wrenching to read these stories. .

  6. Those are some mentally ill adults
that no one from the school system stood ip shows how lacking in character thry are
    parents? sickos
    most are probably alcoholic

  7. I completely agree with you. I’m so sick of nothing being done to these deranged idiots. My hearts breaks everytime I read something like this.

  8. Rebecca Finnegan says:

I fully condemn this heinous attack and agree this attacker should face full punishment for it, if not to be kept away from society in general.
However, was this a farm or a sanctuary? Animal farming as such usually concludes the lives of animals in far more brutal and traumatising circumstances, which is generally exactly what they are raised for in animal agriculture. Their murder by a trespasser is no different from their ultimate fate. I believe BOTH types of animal death need to be stopped, and perhaps the Future Farmers of America (FFA) program should be switched to plant agriculture instead of animal raising.

  9. This abhorrant act by a sick and cruel person needs to be seriously dealt with – a severe punishment, jail, fines, and mental assessment. Not that that will matter; this creep is obviously deranged and should be in jail, at the very least, not ever allowed around animals and no guns.
However, I have to point out that any kid participating in Future Farmers of America HAS to know that they are raising their animals to be killed for food and that manner of execution is just as cruel as, if not worse than, the perpetrator’s.
There’s a cognitive dissonance going on here.

  10. GLOBAL AUTHORITIES PLEASE FIND THESE ABUSERS THAT ARE AT A LEVEL STEPS TO ABUSING PEOPLE IF NOT ALREADY … FIND THIS ABUSER AND CHEXK ALL THE XHILDREN AND ANIMALS IN THE AREA, BEHIND CLOSED DOORS THEY COULD BE ONE IN THE SAME … ALL ANIMAL ABUSERS SHOULD BE SUSPECT NOW IN ALL ABUSE CASES ANIMAL OR HUMAN, XHECK THE CHILDREN THEY COULD BE VICTIMS OR TRAINEES

  11. Stephanie Geyser says:

Sorry – I just DON’T get it. Animals in the “Future Farmers of America” (FFA) program are destined for a violent and terrifying slaughter in an abattoir/slaughterhouse. They AREN’T raised to be pets. The pig and goat just got slaughtered earlier than planned. The main aim of the FFA program is to desensitize children to killing animals. So what’s the point of this petition?

    • Are you trolling, or are you really that stupid? You can’t just trespass and kill animals like that. Please don’t reproduce.

  12. JUSTICE FOR THESE FARM ANIMALS…AXE THIS DIRTBAG TO PIECES.

  13. if it’s not guns then it’s axes and saws in the USA and nothing is being done pathetic that’s your first amendment for you haHAAAA
