End Trophy Hunting of African Lions

Target: Ms. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania

Goal: Ban trophy hunting of African lions in Tanzania to protect the species and promote sustainable tourism.

The hunting of African lions in Tanzania has been a controversial issue for years. While proponents argue that trophy hunting generates revenue and supports conservation efforts, opponents argue that it is cruel and unsustainable, leading to the decline of lion populations and damaging the country’s reputation as a wildlife tourism destination.

It is essential that immediate action be taken to protect the African lion and promote sustainable tourism in Tanzania. This requires a ban on trophy hunting, as well as increased efforts to protect lion habitats, strengthen anti-poaching measures, and promote alternative livelihoods for local communities.

By banning trophy hunting and promoting sustainable tourism, we can protect the African lion and ensure the long-term wellbeing of Tanzania’s people and economy. We strongly urge President Hassan to take immediate action and support this critical initiative.

Through the banning of trophy hunting, protection of lion habitats, and promotion of sustainable tourism, we can protect the African lion and promote the sustainable development of Tanzania. Urge President Hassan to take action and support these efforts.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear President Hassan,

I am writing to urge you to ban the trophy hunting of African lions in Tanzania to protect the species and promote sustainable tourism. Trophy hunting has long been a controversial issue, with opponents arguing that it is unsustainable and harmful to wildlife populations and the country’s reputation as a wildlife tourism destination.

To address this issue, we need to ban trophy hunting, increase efforts to protect lion habitats, strengthen anti-poaching measures, and promote alternative livelihoods for local communities.

We urge the government to implement stricter enforcement of existing wildlife protection laws and regulations, as well as to impose severe penalties on those who engage in the illegal killing of lions.

We strongly urge you, Ms. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, to take immediate action and support efforts to end the hunting of African lions in Tanzania.

Thank you for your attention to this critical issue.

Sincerely,

ANY P.O.S. who would shoot an animal they don’t intend to eat, is a filthy, low-down piece of rotted dog puke.

  2. To allow your lions to be hunted to extinction is beyond understanding. If you decided to profit from the revenues collected by tourists who want to see lions in the wild, that would be respected. Your country profits and the animals are safeguarded. However I fear you want to profit yourself by allowing murderers to kill all your lions and collect the profits from these so called trophy hunters. Surely you must care how your country and the people of your country will survive after all the creatures are gone. It’s something to seriously consider.
