Protect Iconic African Elephant From Habitat Loss and Extinction

Target: President William Ruto, President of Kenya

Goal: Protect the African elephant and its habitat to ensure the survival of this iconic species.

The African elephant is facing numerous threats to its survival, including habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict. Without immediate action, the African elephant could become extinct in the near future, which would have significant ecological, cultural, and economic impacts on Kenya and the world.

To protect the African elephant, we need to address the root causes of habitat loss, including deforestation, agricultural expansion, and infrastructure development. We also need to strengthen law enforcement and anti-poaching measures to combat the illegal trade in elephant ivory. Finally, we need to support scientific research and monitoring to better understand the needs of the African elephant and its habitat.

Through habitat protection and management, anti-poaching measures, and scientific research and monitoring, we can protect the African elephant and its habitat and maintain the ecological health of Kenya’s natural heritage.

Sign below and demand President Ruto take action and support these efforts.
