Puppy Reportedly Abused So Badly That it Hid in Closet for Four Days Deserves Justice

Target: Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg

Goal: Ensure full prosecution of the individual reportedly responsible for severely abusing Lenny, leaving him trembling and starving.

An apparently abused puppy named Lenny was taken from his previous owner over concerns of animal cruelty. He was found trembling, starving, and so terrified that he hid in a closet for four days. His severe distress highlights the urgency of addressing animal abuse.

Lenny was rescued from a high-kill shelter where he had been placed on the euthanasia list. His condition was so dire that he had stopped eating and was curled up, trembling in his kennel. The foster carer who took him in described his heartbreaking state and the immense challenges in helping him learn to trust again.

This situation underscores the critical need for legal action against those reportedly responsible for such cruelty. Ensuring that justice is served in Lenny’s case is vital to prevent future instances of animal abuse. Demand that authorities prosecute the alleged perpetrator to the fullest extent of the law.

If the caregiver cannot help Lenny, does this mean death will be right away? This is so cruel. Rehabilitation takes patience and time. Give this lad a chance for goodness sakes!
