According to a complaint, the puppy was beaten with a stick, its mouth bound tightly with rope in a manner that severely restricted breathing or sound, and the frightened animal was then sealed inside a sack and removed. Authorities are attempting to locate the missing puppy or its body, raising urgent concern about the animal’s fate.
