Disturbingly, multiple deceased horses in varying stages of decay were discovered in close proximity to the living animals, rescuers say. According to investigative accounts, these surviving creatures apparently had no access to food or water, resulting in severe emaciation and suffering.

Veterinarians determined that the horse reportedly caught in a fence could not be saved and had to be euthanized, emphasizing the extent of this apparent neglect.
