Three Dogs Apparently Locked in Car for Days Deserve Justice

Target: Mr. Sihle Zikalala, Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, South Africa

Goal: Ensure a thorough investigation into the alleged mistreatment of animals by a car owner who reportedly left three dogs in a locked vehicle without ventilation.

Reports from Cape Town reveal a harrowing scenario where three canines allegedly suffered in a locked car, devoid of airflow, for an extended period. This vehicle, immobile for four days, became the center of grave concern for animal welfare.

When the Cape of Good Hope SPCA intervened, backed by reports from the Kirstenhof SAPS, they faced an allegedly unyielding car owner. Allegedly, this individual rebuffed all attempts at negotiation, exacerbating the dogs’ plight in the escalating heat. Ultimately, officials were compelled to shatter the window to extract the distressed animals.

The SPCA’s subsequent footage appears to show the adamant owner resisting egress until physically prompted by an SPCA member. Post-rescue, the dogs are now under SPCA care, with a severe admonishment issued regarding the treatment of animals. Demand action now.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Sihle Zikalala,

An unsettling event has surfaced from Cape Town, raising urgent concerns about animal welfare and the enforcement of laws to protect them. Three dogs reportedly found themselves in a dire predicament, confined within a stifling vehicle, devoid of fresh air, and a car owner who allegedly displayed a troubling lack of cooperation with the SPCA, despite clear signs of the animals’ distress.

This incident reflects not only on individual responsibility but also on the efficacy of a collective stance against animal cruelty. As such, we implore your office to initiate a comprehensive inquiry into this matter. It is crucial to ascertain the full scope of the situation and, if warranted, to prosecute to the fullest extent permissible under the legal framework.

The gravity of this case cannot be overstressed. An urgent and decisive response is requisite. Let this instance not merely pass as another report but serve as an exemplar of an unwavering commitment to justice and the humane treatment of all living beings under the purview of South African law.

We request your immediate attention to this matter and anticipate actions that will reaffirm the sanctity of animal rights in society.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

Thank you for rescuing these innocent and defenseless dogs.
No animal deserves to be the victim of DEHUMANIZED and DESENSITIZED SADISTIC PSYCHOPATHS!!! Crimes committed against defenseless animals are increasingly GROTESQUE because the punishment for animal abuse is not severe enough, and in many cases does not exist. This satanic pathological monster must be severely punished, MAX JAIL! He must also be forbidden from coming near animals, or owning animals, ever again.
SET a PRECEDENT, and punish to the full extent of the law!

I hope the dogs crapped from one end of his car to the other, then lock him in it with the windows closed and send it off a cliff!!!

Stick this a******** in an unventilated car for 4 days….

  10. You smash the windows. Problem solved. Take the dogs from him. Why would anyone let this situation go four days?

Africa is Africa … in any direction of the compass. If nonhumans lack adequate protections in North America, Europe, and Australia, it is unlikely they will get their due elsewhere. Sadly and ironically, in backward countries there is not even the hope for some “street justice” for the perps.

UNBELIEVABLE THIS TORTURE WAS ALLOWED FOR FOUR DAYS!! SHOVE HIS ASS IN THERE FOR FOUR DAYS THEN KILL HIM!!

  13. Avatar photo Maria Lavorato says:

Why did it take 4 days! Why was there any negotiation at all?
The dogs were locked for 4 days! Animal cruelty needs to be punishable to the max each and every time so that it is eradicated. Animals have no voice so you must protect them.

Publish his name, so that someone nearby who loves animals locks his ass in a hot car with no help in site!

I cannot understand why the authorities? allowed this for so long. Yes, stick this worthless P.O.S. scum bastard in an unventilated area in the hot sun and let him die, slowly, hopefully. Name and shame all animal abusers.

  15. I agree with everything said but this is in South Africa. The punishment was “A severe admonishment”. What the hell is that?

  16. Avatar photo Paula Long says:

Teach your citizens to have compassion!! This person intentionally did this and must be punished. You are just as guilty of the abuse with that sorry punishment that was handed out!!

HOW GROSS AND DISGUSTING IS THIS EVIL, SO CALLED HUMAN, TO ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN. HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT WAS GOING ON AND CHOSE TO DO NOTHING. THESE POOR ANIMALS SUFFERING WAS INEXCUSEABLE AND PREVENTABLE.
HE CLEARLY DIDNT CARE WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW THEY SUFFERED…NOW HE MUST PAY AND PAY DEARLY FOR THIS WICKED, EVIL ACTION.
PUNISH HIM TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE AND THEN SOME.
KEEP AND EYE ON HIM FOR THE REST OF HIS VILE DISGUSTING LIFE AND MAKE SURE HE NEVER, EVER GOES NEAR AN ANIMAL.
SHAMEFUL, DISGUSTING EXCUSE FOR A `HUMAN`.

  18. This POS needs to be left locked up for a month without food or water, BASTARD!

    Only a “Severe Admonishment” ???
What does that mean there in South Africa?

I’m not so sure that my signing this petition, will have much positive effect I’M STILL SIGNING THE PETITION.

With the windows closed up tight, the immediate threat to the dog’s was suffocation, and heat stroke.

Even if that car was left in constant shade, the dog’s were at serious risk of a slow death (or was that his plan?).

THEN, just looking at the physical issues for the auto in question, the inside of that car was at risk for being ripped apart due to the dog’s frantic effort to escape, or their serious separation anxiety.

If the car’s interior wasn’t damaged due to the dog’s level of being frantic to escape, there’s the serious soiling of the interior… directly due to the dog’s having no choice, but to use the car as their latrine.

My guess is, that the perpetrator would put the blame for the damages to the car, to the dog’s and not his stupidity!

My sympathy goes 100% to the dog’s, for what they had to endure …and for FOUR days!! Grrrrrrrrr
