Ban Graphic Animal Abuse Videos on Twitter

Target: Ms. Linda Yaccarino, CEO of Twitter

Goal: Take immediate and decisive action to address the circulation of graphic animal abuse videos on Twitter and strengthen moderation practices.

The recent circulation of graphic animal abuse videos on Twitter has caused widespread outrage and raised serious concerns regarding the platform’s moderation practices. One particularly notorious video depicts the horrifying act of placing a kitten inside a blender, resulting in its death. The dissemination of such content has not only shocked and appalled viewers, but has also sparked a disturbing trend where reactions to these videos have become a genre of internet content themselves.

The significance of this issue cannot be overstated. The proliferation of animal abuse videos not only perpetuates violence and cruelty, but also desensitizes individuals to such acts. This undermines our shared values of compassion, empathy, and respect for all living beings. Furthermore, these videos have the potential to cause severe psychological distress to viewers, particularly children and individuals sensitive to animal welfare issues.

By taking proactive measures to address this issue, Twitter can demonstrate its commitment to user safety and well-being, as well as its dedication to fostering an online environment that promotes respect, empathy, and the protection of vulnerable beings. Demand immediate action.

PETITION LETTER:

As the CEO of Twitter, it is your responsibility to prioritize user safety and well-being, as well as the prevention of the spread of violent and abusive content.

Any websites that allow this horrific and atrocious form of graphic entertainment should be responsible for each and every act that is shown . The individuals who operate sites, should be held accountable for the contents in which they provide. Individuals are just as guilty for watching them. It is hard to think in this day and age this form of profanity is acceptable and watched all over the world as entertainment. Our society has a very warped sense of what is amusement.

  3. People are getting so evil and warped anymore. It’s disgusting and sickening.

  4. Elon Musk travels the world as if he is some big humanitarian, but he does horrendous experiments on animals and allows animal torture videos on his Twitter/X platform. When will he actually become a human being at stop this abuse?
