Stop Illegal Trapping of the Beautiful Malabar Parakeet

Target: Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India

Goal: Advocate for the conservation of the Malabar Parakeet and its habitat to ensure its survival.

The Malabar Parakeet, a beautiful and unique bird species endemic to the Western Ghats of India, is facing a grave threat to its existence. This vibrant parakeet species has been experiencing a decline in population due to habitat loss, deforestation, and illegal trapping for the pet trade. The loss of their natural habitat and the fragmentation of their population puts them at high risk of extinction.

To secure the future of the Malabar Parakeet, it is crucial to advocate for its conservation. This includes taking concrete steps to protect and restore its forested habitats, implementing strict measures against illegal trapping and trade, and raising public awareness about the importance of preserving this iconic bird species.

The conservation of the Malabar Parakeet is not only vital for the ecological balance of the Western Ghats but also for India’s rich biodiversity. As a nation blessed with incredible natural heritage, India bears the responsibility of safeguarding its unique wildlife species. By prioritizing the conservation of the Malabar Parakeet, we can contribute to the preservation of India’s natural ecosystems and ensure the survival of this magnificent bird.

Therefore, we call upon Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, to actively advocate for the conservation of the Malabar Parakeet and its habitat. We urge him to allocate resources, collaborate with environmental organizations and local communities, and enforce stringent measures to protect this species and its critical habitats.

The conservation of the Malabar Parakeet will not only preserve India’s biodiversity but also enhance its global reputation as a leader in wildlife conservation. It is our shared responsibility to protect and conserve this precious bird species for future generations to marvel at and cherish. Act now before it is too late.

  1. India must be the worst country for animals. Between poaching, pet trade and just simply not caring for anything but money is quickly supporting India at the top of the worst countries for fairness to animals.

At the very least you could do something to stop this horrific abuse and extinction. As you know extinction is forever. This bird is beautiful and unique. Please protect it.

WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED FROM SUCH AN UNEDUCATED COUNTRY, WHICH LIVES IN THE PAST, WITH A VERY HIGH DEGREE OF ILLITERACY AND POVERTY?
