Stop Giving Animal Abusers Slaps on the Wrist

Target: Victoria Prentis, Minister of Crown Prosecution Service

Goal: Ensure maximum punishment for individuals convicted of heinous acts of animal cruelty.

One of the world’s most famous cities has recently been the sight of several disturbing incidents of apparent animal cruelty. In two separate incidents, dozens of dogs and puppies were rescued from a kennel and an animal testing facility in London, England. All of the animals were reportedly in a dire state, exhibiting signs of diseases like mange and parvovirus. In yet another London incident, multiple puppies were found abandoned in a rusty cage placed outside in freezing temperatures. And in an incident that tragically took a life, a concerned Londoner discovered a dead cat believed to be cut nearly in half.

While it might be assumed that a large city like London would have stringent and strongly enforced laws on the books to deal with these types of alleged crimes, such an assumption is far from reality. In yet another case involving defenseless dogs, two individuals were found guilty of neglecting and nearly starving their pet canines to death. Despite the seriousness of these charges, the defendants were handed suspended prison sentences, which means they will likely spend not a day in jail.

Sign the petition below to demand London’s legal system protect animals from being abused, exploited, and killed.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Attorney General Prentis,

The Animal Welfare Sentencing Bill was supposed to be a reset for UK animal cruelty punishments deemed too lax by many citizens. What happened to London? After the passage of this bill, a couple found guilty of starving their dogs received a suspended sentence. Currently, the city is dealing with a series of very troubling cases involving a cat reportedly almost cut in half and dozens of young dogs nearly losing their lives to alleged neglect at animal testing and kennel facilities.

Will these animals receive the justice seemingly not afforded to prior victims, or will the status quo of unchecked and unpunished animal cruelty continue? Please strongly enforce sentencing standards for the sake of all vulnerable animals.

Sincerely,

Any one who is charged with ANIMAL CRUELTY NEEDS A L O N G PRISON SENTENCE and NOT a SKAPMON THE WRIST!!! Those CRUEL AND ABUSIVE IDIOTS should NEVER EVER be ALLOWED TO OWN, ADOPT, &/ OR BE AROUND NEAR ANY MORE ANIMALS FOR THE REST OF THEIR MISERABLE LIVES!!!!!!

  2. Tracey A says:

SLAPS ON THE WRIST IS WHY ANIMAL ABUSE PERPETUATES!!!!! NOTHING WILL CHANGE UNLESS THE LAWS ARE CHANGED AND ENFORCED!!!!!

  3. Jaime Perez says:

Animal abusers deserve the harshest punishment possible. Huge fines and long jail sentences. Abusers shouldn’t get away with harming innocent animals, they’ll keep doing it.

Ensure maximum punishment for the monster human individuals convicted of heinous acts of animal torture and murder.Their maximum punishment must be the Death Penalty immediately.

All the vile and evil lowlife psychopathic animal abusers and animal torturers and animal murderers must be brought to Justice and sentence to death.
Eradication from our Planet of all the vile and evil psychopathic lowlife human monsters who deliberately and heinously torture and murder precious and innocent animals to death must be sentenced to death. Kill the monster human bastards immediately.

    • I totally agree. Eliminating every waste-of-human-skin, walking-feces immediately. Ideally they should endure the same equal punishment that they subjected any and all animals to, but make them SUFFER, to feel the FEAR, to feel the PAIN, and to know you ARE GOING TO DIE!!! I believe these LAWS SHOULD APPLY WORLDWIDE!!

ANIMAL LIVES MATTER! We live in a world ruled by Speciesism which is a TRAGEDY for our planet and all animal species sharing this planet with us. Humans are NOT superior, because no superior being destroys the place where it lives.
Humans are part of a vulnerable eco-system, not “superior” creatures who have the right to kill and destroy everything on their way just because they are humans.
Those who abuse and torture animals, but are given slaps on the wrist, regularly DEHUMANIZE our world and cause UNSPEAKABLE SUFFERING to other innocent living beings who have exactly the same right to planet Earth as humans.
ANIMAL-ABUSERS DESERVE DEATH PENALTY, and also they should cover all veterinary costs for the animals they have mistreated. ANIMAL LIVES MATTER MORE than lives of human psychopathic scumbags!

Only one way to deal with animal abusers, a bullet to the head!

  8. Shirley Lemieux says:

The major problem in this World is whether or not Governments will create the most simplest of harsh laws to prevent animal cruelty in the first place. Yes, harsh Laws may not prevent all forms of animal cruelty but it does serve as a deterrent. Allowing animals to become victims at the hands of viscous and violent people, says alot about the body of Government that is in place.

  9. animal cruelty must bebheld in the same context as human cruelty and neglect. BOTH need far more severe sentencing. Sick to death of the soft approach, look at the state of the country, get tough and get this vermin off of our streets for good. If you take a life, your sentence should be LIFE!!!!!

    I agree with Jaime Perez
“Animal abusers deserve the harshest punishment possible. Huge fines and long jail sentences. Abusers shouldn’t get away with harming innocent animals, they’ll keep doing it.” SHE IS RIGHT!! THESE ABUSERS MUST BE SEVERELY PUNISHED,,,, WHAT THE WELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR😡
