Demand the Removal of Music Video Showing Alleged Sexual Assault

Target: Susan Wojcicki, Youtube CEO

Goal: Remove music video from YouTube that shows an alleged rape of an actress.

A music video that reportedly shows the sexual assault of actress Evan Rachel Wood is published on YouTube. The actress is shown engaging in sexual acts that she says she did not consent to. The video has over 32 million views and must be taken down. In a new documentary made by Wood, she says she was drugged and taken advantage of in the video.

Although no charges can be taken up with the alleged abuser due to the statute of limitations in California, the video must be removed from YouTube. Survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault must be protected, and YouTube should not allow content depicting anything of the sort on their site.

Sign below and demand the YouTube CEO to remove the video permanently.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Ms. Wojcicki,

The alleged assault and abuse occurring in Marilyn Manson’s music video, “Heart-Shaped Glasses” is horrifying. The victim has come out multiple times to voice her story and the video must be taken down. Survivors and activists deserve to be heard and YouTube must condemn videos depicting any violence regarding these issues. We demand the video be removed permanently from YouTube.

Sincerely,
