Transgendered folk need to be represented in our petitions to our lawmakers

Target: Government officials/representatives,

I sign and send petitions to my lawmakers frequently, and in each one, I am asked to declare my gender, since I don’t hold any genderless “Title”. Being transgendered/non-binary I have to lie every time I assign my gender, because it is not offered to me. I don’t think it is too much to ask to have one’s gender made available, if it is deemed necessary, by those making decisions about my/our lives. Transgendered people vote, please represent us accordingly. Thank-you.
