Success: Travel Ban Blocked From Another Revival

Target: John Roberts, Circuit Justice for the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals

Goal: Praise 4th Circuit Court for keeping the block on President Trump’s travel ban in place.

Recently, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals planned to challenge the 4th Circuit’s decision to block President Trump’s attempt to revive the travel ban. Petitions such as this one on ForceChange immediately protested the revival, and in the end, the 4th Circuit came through and kept the block on Trump’s unconstitutional ban firmly in place.

Every victory over Trump’s agenda should be considered monumental, and this one is no exception. The travel ban was and continues to be unconstitutional and extremely biased; the chief judge declared it “[dripping] with religious intolerance, animus, and discrimination.” Trump’s claims of desiring national security are racist and a thinly veiled prejudice against countries he does not do business with.

Trump is likely to attempt another revival of the ban, but with any luck, he will be stopped again and again until the block of this ban is made permanent. The United States and the courts have done an excellent job of fighting this aspect of Trump’s agenda. Sign this petition to thank the 4th Circuit Court for keeping the block in place.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Justice Roberts,

Thank you for continuing the block on President Trump’s unconstitutional travel ban, despite his efforts to revive it and convince another court to take his side. The ban has been a terrible idea since day one, but you have helped make this one of the easiest fights against Trump’s agenda. With him and his administration fighting as hard as they can to make life difficult for us, every victory is monumental, and this one is no exception.

We praise your good judgment and hope you will continue to reject this ban, as Trump will likely continue to try to revive it. Thank you for taking the side of decency, common sense, and keeping America open and accepting.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

Lindsay, if you want your 5 year old daughter raped then that’s up to you. Personally, I want to protect her and other children from these raping murdering bastards. I also don’t want to cry over the children blown up by bombers. Don’t worry, your death won’t bother me in the slightest.

Trump is trying to ensure that people coming in from SIX countries that have a higher number of terrorists are properly security checked. This is not a racist ban as most other Muslim controlled countries are not affected.

It is sad that so many Allies gave their lives for stupid morons to support the entrance of those that plan to kill them.

  2. To disagree strongly with the petitioner Lindsay Savitzky is one thing, but to personally attack her like that is unacceptable.
I am saying this because I am disturbed at the online bullying going on at forcechange lately, perpetrated by some commenters.
I ask that you and any other bully types reading this will please refrain from cruel personal attacks when commenting. Please have the courtesy to discuss issues respectfully. Thank you.

I don’t think Lindsay was bullying. I think you B Denno, should quit being so weak and sensitive, because when it comes to having a bunch of murdering migrants, strong talk is required.

  4. Abuse is never required to get a point across. Neither is it acceptable. Neither does it work. And it’s, well….abusive.
I don’t know about you, but I’m trying to do what I can to make the world a better place. Treating one another with respect and kindness is part of that.

I agree with Gillian. Why is pointing out things that will happen if everyone is let in with all the BS of being refugee and persecuted in their country. Anyone who doesn’t believe it could and would happen in the US should take a good look at Sweden and other Countries that have let the Muslim pour in. I think whoever wants this could just go visit these Countries for a short time and I think they will sing a different tune. I think the gates have been opened to wide by the previous Muslim leader must be closed and those that don’t belong in the US sent packing. If saying what you think is Bulling guess I’m a bully. Rather be a Bully than an Ostrich with my head in the sand.

    • You are confusing the issue. You said “If saying what you think is Bulling guess I’m a bully”. A person does NOT have to bully in order to say what they think. People have a right to say what we think. But we DON’T have a right to abuse others.
It’s very convoluted to complain about someone else’s cruelty (Muslim’s in this case) while being cruel oneself.
