Seven was seized by authorities and transferred to a local animal shelter, where he is receiving intensive medical rehabilitation.
Matthews faces animal cruelty allegations under New York State Agriculture and Markets Law, along with additional counts under the Suffolk County Code. Veterinary findings can document the extent of Seven’s apparent suffering and help determine whether criminal neglect occurred.
