Justice for Coco, Family Dog Allegedly Slaughtered and Cooked

Target: John T. Savrnoch, District Attorney for Santa Barbara County, CA

Goal: Punish man accused of killing and cooking pet dog to fullest extent.

A 37-year-old California man has been charged with a heinous act of animal cruelty. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call summoning them to the residence of Alejandro Buenrostro. While searching the premises, they made a horrifying discovery.

What appeared to be the remains of Buenrostro’s pet dog Coco were found on the property. The dog had been seemingly killed and then cut up. Buenrostro allegedly also cooked the pet in front of his family. Charges of animal cruelty were filed. The exact details of the case have not been made public.

Sign the petition below to demand prosecutors follow through and seek an appropriate punishment and that they file additional charges if warranted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Savrnoch,

In the animal cruelty case filed against Alejandro Buenrostro, the district attorney’s office alleged that the suspect sought to “maliciously and intentionally maim, mutilate, torture and wound a living animal.” The brutal circumstances of the case – including reports that the family dog Coco was cut up and cooked like a literal piece of meat – suggest a disturbing level of sadism that must be met with severe punishment if the allegations are proven true. Please ensure that justice is served.

In addition, if any other individuals aided or abetted this alleged crime, please pursue immediate charges.

Sincerely,
