Cat Allegedly Stabbed to Death Deserves Justice

A West Virginia sheriff’s deputy on patrol had a disturbing encounter after an upset driver told the deputy that a family member had killed another family member’s pet cat. When the man identified as the alleged killer, Nicholas Tabor, was questioned, he apparently admitted to stabbing his grandmother’s cat repeatedly with a knife. Investigators found the cat soon thereafter, and the animal’s carcass reportedly bore several wounds in the ribs, the back, and the face.

The suspect allegedly stated that he had killed the cat to prevent his grandmother from going to hell. He also apparently made negative statements about the meat found in cat food. These troubling reported confessions seem to indicate potential mental health issues. Tabor was charged with felony animal cruelty but may face extradition to another state where he is wanted on separate charges.
