To not preserve Marshes and Wet Lands is ignorant at this point in time. Climate Change is here and unless one has been living under a rock it is well known these Marshes and Wet Lands protect your state in many ways but seriously protect in time of storms. I feel if a state takes care of these important protections they should be allotted what they may need in time of hurricanes, etc. If states do nothing to protect these natural defense systems they ought “not “to receive any assistance from the government. The same is true for Big AG animals farmers who often do nothing to save the lives of their animals allowing them to drown and expecting the government to pay them to buy more animals. I say, NO!
