Dogs Allegedly Locked at Home for 6 Months Deserves Justice

Target: Mr. Amit Talwar, Commissioner of Police in Amritsar, Punjab, India

Goal: Thoroughly investigate case of animal cruelty involving man who allegedly left his two pet dogs to suffer and die unattended for six months.

A shocking incident of animal cruelty has emerged from Amritsar, Punjab. Dr. PS Bedi, a resident of Block A of Ranjit Avenue, has been accused of abandoning his two pet dogs in a locked parking space at his house for six months while he traveled to Canada. The dogs were reportedly subjected to extreme heat, lack of ventilation, and insufficient food, resulting in one dog fainting and the other being infected by maggots.

Reports indicate that Dr. Bedi had entrusted the care of the dogs to his brother, who failed to adequately provide for their needs. When the Animal Welfare and Care Service Foundation (AWCSF) intervened, Dr. Bedi’s brother allegedly opposed the rescue and treatment of the dogs, exacerbating their suffering. The AWCSF subsequently involved the police to ensure immediate action.

The police have registered an FIR under the relevant sections of the Prevention of Animal Cruelty Act, 1960, indicating the seriousness of the allegations and the need for a thorough investigation. Demand action now.

Instigation of the death penalty is an essential requirement for this severe vile dog abusing cretin.

Is the investigation under way? I believe both parties should be held responsible for this abandonment. Did he think the dogs could take care of themselves? How much work goes into taking care of two dogs? It’s really not too difficult, and if you feel it is, DO NOT have pets. Both people involved should not be allowed to have pets or be responsible for any living being. I certainly hope his visit to Canada was not a business venture in hopes of setting up a practice here, whatever type of doctor he is please do not come back.
