Veterinarians found that she was severely underweight—nearly half the healthy weight expected for her age—and suffering from an advanced respiratory infection together with a heavy parasitic infestation. Despite continuous emergency treatment, her condition deteriorated until multiple organs failed, leaving veterinarians with no humane option other than euthanasia to end her suffering.
