According to investigators, four individuals captured six puppies approximately three months old, forced them into a coarse burlap sack, and separated them from their nursing mother before abandoning them in a remote grassy area. Acting on information from local residents, police and volunteers located the litter and safely reunited the puppies with their mother. Investigators are reviewing security camera footage to identify all persons who may have been involved.
