Target: Hussein Omar Khan, Director, Department of Wildlife and National Parks Peninsular Malaysia, Selangor, Malaysia
Goal: Pursue maximum penalties against individual accused of throwing a three-month-old puppy from a seventh-floor apartment balcony.
A horrifying animal cruelty investigation intensified after a three-month-old puppy reportedly died from catastrophic injuries after being thrown from a high-rise balcony during a domestic dispute in Selangor. Neighbors reportedly heard shouting from inside the apartment moments before security guards witnessed the animal strike the concrete courtyard below.
Authorities immediately secured the scene and transferred the puppy’s remains for forensic examination. Investigators later detained a male resident allegedly connected to the incident after officers obtained a formal entry warrant for the apartment. A criminal case has been registered under Malaysia’s Animal Welfare Act.
Animal welfare advocates argue that throwing a defenseless animal from a high-rise structure may represent exceptionally violent cruelty and reckless disregard for life. The suspect was later released on temporary psychiatric bail while medical evaluations continue. If substantiated, these allegations would represent severe violence and preventable suffering allegedly inflicted upon a vulnerable young animal incapable of escape or self-defense.
PETITION LETTER:
Dear Director Khan,
Authorities have made allegations involving a puppy thrown from a seventh-floor balcony during a domestic dispute inside a residential apartment.
Security personnel reportedly witnessed the animal strike the concrete below while police secured the scene and detained a suspect. If proven, the alleged conduct would represent exceptionally cruel violence inflicted upon a defenseless puppy.
We urge your department to support maximum prosecution and penalties against any individuals found responsible for this alleged fatal cruelty case.
Sincerely,
[Your Name Here]
