Cattle Allegedly Packed Into Container and Suffocated: Demand Maximum Penalties

Target: Anand Mohan, Superintendent of Police, Arunachal Pradesh, India

Goal: Pursue maximum penalties against individuals allegedly involved in interstate cattle trafficking and cruelty.

Authorities intercepted a disturbing cattle trafficking operation near the Assam border after officers stopped a vehicle allegedly transporting animals in severely overcrowded conditions. Investigators discovered six cattle crammed into a compartment reportedly intended for only one or two animals. One animal had already died before the interception, with officials suspecting suffocation and internal trauma caused by the transport conditions.

The surviving cattle were reportedly found with their limbs tightly bound and with visible injuries covering parts of their bodies. Officers also documented signs of dehydration and physical exhaustion among the surviving animals. Three suspects were taken into custody while investigators began examining whether the operation was connected to a larger trafficking network tied to illegal meat and leather activities.

Authorities sent the deceased animal for post-mortem examination while the surviving cattle were transferred to a government shelter for emergency medical and nutritional support. If substantiated, these allegations would represent severe cruelty inflicted for commercial profit and deliberate disregard for animal welfare laws.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Superintendent Mohan,

Authorities have reported allegations that cattle were transported in dangerously overcrowded conditions during an interstate trafficking operation near the Assam border. One animal reportedly died before officers intercepted the vehicle, while surviving cattle were found dehydrated, injured, and tightly restrained.

Investigators are examining whether the operation was connected to a broader trafficking network. If proven, the alleged conduct would represent severe cruelty and unlawful treatment of vulnerable animals during transport.

We urge your office to pursue maximum penalties against any individuals found responsible and continue investigating any organized trafficking connections linked to this case.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
