Target: Jennifer Schorn, District Attorney, Bucks County, Pennsylvania
Goal: Pursue maximum penalties against the individual allegedly neglecting a senior horse suffering from severe untreated medical conditions.
A deeply troubling animal cruelty case has emerged after a senior horse was reportedly found unable to stand and suffering from severe untreated hoof rot, dehydration, and prolonged physical decline. Veterinary responders ultimately determined the animal’s condition was so advanced that humane euthanasia became necessary to prevent further suffering.
Authorities allege the horse did not receive necessary veterinary care that may have prevented the deterioration. Investigators are also examining whether additional animals on the property may have been at risk. The defendant has been charged with neglect and cruelty while legal proceedings remain in the early stages.
If substantiated, these allegations would represent prolonged failure to provide essential medical treatment and humane care to a vulnerable elderly animal. Strong legal action is necessary to ensure accountability and reinforce the responsibility to provide timely veterinary care when animals experience severe suffering.
PETITION LETTER:
Dear DA Schorn,
Authorities have reported a case involving a senior horse allegedly left suffering from severe untreated hoof rot, dehydration, and inability to stand before euthanasia became necessary. Investigators allege the animal did not receive adequate veterinary care despite obvious physical decline.
The reported condition of the horse raises serious concerns about prolonged neglect and preventable suffering inflicted on a dependent animal. If proven, the alleged conduct would represent a grave failure of humane responsibility.
We urge your office to pursue maximum penalties under applicable animal cruelty laws against any individual found responsible. If substantiated, these alleged acts warrant decisive prosecution and meaningful accountability.
Sincerely,

Starvation has got to be the most severe form of cruelty there is especially for a senior horse that needed help to begin with and on top of it let its hooves grow out so bad it couldn’t even walk again this is an old horse to begin with they need special attention they have more needs just to survive so I say throw the book at these piles of trash lock them up with no food or water in a dark dinghy tiny cell to feel what that poor old horse had to suffer through and then only to die in the end because of their disgusting deliberate sickening cruel torture No Mercy for them none!
