If you look the story up on the internet you will see that it involves everybody’s favorite country…. CHINA…. yes, THE main culprit for weird, wonderful and useless tonics, pills, lotions and elixirs for anything from ear ache to low libido!! The demand for gelatine from donkey and horse parts is driving these killings. Chinese probably dangled a lot of money in front of these very poor and desperate people. The northern cape is basically desert. Very very dry, difficult to farm anything. So, yes it is a horrible thing that they did, unforgivable, but a helpful thing to do is to contact your local, friendly member of parliament and insist that they force China to stop it’s shit!!!
