Five individuals have been arrested following the reported discovery of a 12-year-old child infested with “several hundred bugs” in a home overflowing with filth, including floors smeared with animal feces. Two additional children, aged 3 and 5, were reportedly also living in these distressing conditions, raising urgent questions about their safety and well-being.
Authorities allegedly found numerous animals—five dogs, eight cats, and two rabbits—confined in cramped, filthy cages, many described as “emaciated and covered in feces.” The reported appalling living conditions and extensive neglect led to multiple charges against the suspects, including 15 counts of animal cruelty and neglect of dependents. The elderly and adult suspects, including a 76-year-old man and his relatives, are currently in custody.
