Seek Justice for Animals Allegedly Left to Die in Overcrowded, Feces-Filled Home

Target: Ray Tierney, District Attorney of Suffolk County, New York State

Goal: Seek maximum legal penalties for individual reportedly responsible for keeping animals in filth, leading to multiple deaths.

Authorities reportedly discovered a horrific case of animal neglect when they executed a search warrant at a residence. Inside the home, officials allegedly found a staggering 10 deceased animals and many more suffering from severe neglect. Reports describe the living conditions as unbearable, with an overwhelming stench of feces, urine, and rot causing personnel to cough and gag upon entry.

Investigators allegedly found live animals crammed into overcrowded spaces surrounded by towering piles of garbage, some reaching over six feet high. Among the animals were 11 sugar gliders and nine cats, reportedly kept in squalor without adequate care. Additionally, a deceased snake was reportedly found among the tragic discoveries. Officials apparently condemned the home as “unfit for human occupancy.”

Beyond the animal cruelty, large amounts of suspected drug paraphernalia, including crack cocaine and MDMA, were reportedly uncovered at the scene. Without accountability, similar cases of extreme neglect will continue to endanger helpless animals. Sign below and demand that authorities pursue the strongest penalties possible against the responsible party and provide mental health services if recommended.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Ray Tierney,

The recent case involving the reported discovery of multiple deceased and severely neglected animals in a seemingly unlivable home is deeply disturbing. Reports indicate that law enforcement found 10 dead animals and several others suffering in squalid conditions, allegedly confined in spaces filled with towering piles of garbage, filth, and overpowering odors of waste and decay.

Among the reportedly mistreated animals, 11 sugar gliders and nine cats were allegedly kept in overcrowded, hazardous conditions without proper care. Authorities also reportedly found a deceased snake on the premises. In addition, large amounts of suspected drug paraphernalia were reportedly present, raising serious concerns about the welfare of any living creatures in this environment. The home was declared unfit for human occupancy.

No animal should be subjected to horrific neglect and suffering. We urge you to seek the maximum legal penalties against the responsible party to ensure that justice is served for the innocent animals and mental health services for the accused. Strong legal consequences will serve as a deterrent and reinforce the importance of holding individuals accountable for the care of their animals.

Sincerely,
