Justice for Over 100 Deer Allegedly Poached and Gruesomely Killed

Target: Sheriff Ryan F. Waldschmidt, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin County Sheriff’s Office

Goal: Hold accountable those allegedly involved in massive deer poaching operation and demand strict legal penalties for their actions.

The recently uncovered allegations of a deer poaching operation across Fond du Lac, Washington, and Dodge counties in Wisconsin are deeply disturbing and warrant immediate attention. An extensive investigation has reportedly revealed that over 100 deer were illegally killed, with shocking acts that included spotlighting and shooting deer from vehicles, intentionally striking them with vehicles, and callously leaving carcasses to rot. Allegations describe incidents in which juvenile suspects drove around with a severely wounded deer in the trunk of their vehicle, recording their encounters with the suffering animal, which tragically died hours later. The sheer recklessness and disregard for life exhibited in these alleged events cannot be overstated.

Further reports reveal additional cruel behavior, including the capturing of a newborn fawn found alongside the road, which was taken into their home, only to be released back into the wild later. Authorities allegedly identified four suspects — three male minors and one adult female — who face multiple charges for their purported involvement in these heinous acts. Sheriff Waldschmidt himself described these actions as “senseless, reckless, and indiscriminate,” emphasizing the need for accountability to ensure justice for the animals and a reminder to the community of the seriousness of wildlife protection laws.

Immediate and appropriate punishment is essential not only to address these alarming allegations but also to deter similar future behavior. Demand strict legal consequences for these alleged acts of cruelty to uphold the moral obligation to protect wildlife and maintain the sanctity of our natural ecosystems.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Sheriff Ryan F. Waldschmidt,

The allegations surrounding the massive deer poaching operation that reportedly spanned three counties are both alarming and tragic. An extensive investigation has purportedly uncovered numerous instances of severe animal cruelty, including the illegal shooting of over 100 deer, as well as the reckless behavior of four identified suspects who engaged in distressing acts such as spotlighting and striking deer with vehicles. The reported cruelty displayed towards these animals is astonishingly unacceptable, as evidenced by the disturbing incidents involving a wounded deer kept in a trunk and a captured newborn fawn.

The impact of these alleged actions extends beyond the immediate cruelty faced by the animals; they seem to reflect a broader disregard for Wisconsin’s hunting heritage and wildlife regulations. Sheriff Waldschmidt, the horror of these reported actions should resonate with both hunters and non-hunters alike, urging a stronger stance on wildlife protection within our community. As such, it is vital to ensure that justice is served through appropriate legal repercussions for those allegedly responsible, not only to reflect the seriousness of the situation but also to serve as a deterrent against future offenses.

We respectfully demand that all alleged perpetrators involved in this deer poaching operation face strict legal penalties commensurate with the magnitude of their actions. It is imperative to uphold the principles of wildlife protection and demonstrate that cruelty against animals will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Sincerely,
Your Name Here

These are individuals which haven’t any respect for animals at all. They need to be given serious prison time to set an example for others who may want to engage in this sort of reckless and horrific form of entertainment and fun.
