Justice for Dog Allegedly Struck on Head and Killed

Target: Lucien Wong, Chief Prosecutor of Singapore

Goal: Ensure that the individual allegedly responsible for the abuse and death of a dog faces appropriate legal consequences for reported animal cruelty.

On January 22, a 13-year-old poodle named Boyboy reportedly suffered severe abuse at the hands of Junny Lal Awn Pui, a maid hired to care for him. The maid is accused of violently mistreating Boyboy, including allegedly grabbing him by the neck, pinning him to the ground, and striking his head with a stick made of rolled paper. This reported abuse is believed to have led to the dog’s untimely death, prompting his owner to take legal action after discovering the shocking events through CCTV footage.

The details of the alleged abuse are deeply disturbing. Besides the physical attacks, the maid is also accused of reportedly pressing her leg on Boyboy while attempting to bandage him, causing further distress and pain. Additionally, she allegedly hung the dog by his harness on a balcony railing to “sun” him, an act she claims was done at her employer’s request. Despite her intention to contest this specific charge, the maid is apparently willing to plead guilty to the remaining allegations.

Such acts of alleged cruelty highlight a blatant disregard for animal welfare and necessitate a strong legal response. It is imperative that the Chief Prosecutor of Singapore ensures that Junny Lal Awn Pui’s reported actions do not go unpunished. Legal accountability for this alleged incident will serve as a deterrent against future mistreatment of animals and reinforce the importance of compassion and humane treatment for all living beings. Take immediate now.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Lucien Wong,

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the alleged abuse and death of a 13-year-old poodle named Boyboy, reportedly at the hands of a maid named Junny Lal Awn Pui. The maid has been accused of committing multiple acts of cruelty towards Boyboy, including allegedly grabbing him by the neck, pinning him down, and striking him with a stick made of rolled paper. These actions reportedly resulted in severe trauma and ultimately led to Boyboy’s death.

Further allegations against the maid include reportedly pressing her leg on Boyboy while attempting to bandage him and hanging him by his harness on a balcony railing. Such reported acts are not only inhumane but also reflect a serious breach of trust in her role as a caregiver. While the maid has indicated her intent to plead guilty to some charges, it is crucial that all allegations are thoroughly examined and that justice is served.

I urge you to pursue this case with the full weight of the law to ensure that those allegedly responsible for this apparent act of animal cruelty are held accountable. The tragic fate of Boyboy should serve as a reminder that animal abuse is a serious crime that warrants strict legal consequences. Taking decisive action can help prevent similar incidents and uphold the principles of compassion and justice in our society.

Sincerely,

  1. I’m so tired of humans and what horrible things they do to animals.
Drag this woman out into the street, take a shovel and hit her in the head. Let her lie in the street bleeding to death and she can die the way she forced the dog to die. People who hurt others are too evil to allow to live. They being nothing but pain and suffering to the world. The world is better off without them.
