Demand Justice for English Bulldog Left in Taped Bin in Scorching Heat

Target: Aaron D. Ford, Attorney General of Nevada

Goal: Ensure that responsible individuals face the maximum legal consequences for this cruel act.

In a harrowing case of animal cruelty, an English Bulldog named Reba was found near death inside a taped-up tote bin next to a dumpster in the sweltering heat of Las Vegas. The bin, discovered near the Boulevard Mall, trapped Reba in 100-degree temperatures, causing her to suffer severe heat stroke and respiratory distress. Staff at the Veterinary Emergency Group, led by Dr. Jessica Dowling, worked tirelessly to save her, highlighting the severity of her condition. Despite their efforts, Reba’s life remains in jeopardy due to the extent of her suffering.

Carlos Herrera of Paws Patrol, who transported Reba to the clinic, emphasized the rising issue of animal abandonment and mistreatment in the area. He described the heart-wrenching moment when he found Reba struggling to breathe, noting the cruelty of taping her inside a bin during such extreme weather. Instances like this are becoming increasingly common, with reports of dogs being dumped, tied up, or otherwise mistreated.

This incident underscores the urgent need for strict enforcement of animal welfare laws and severe penalties for those who commit such heinous acts. Las Vegas police have launched an investigation to identify the perpetrators of this heartless act. The individuals responsible for this horrific act must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law to deter future occurrences and ensure justice for Reba.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Attorney General Aaron D. Ford,

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding a recent and appalling case of animal cruelty in Las Vegas, where an English Bulldog named Reba was found barely alive in a taped-up tote bin left next to a dumpster in extreme heat. This inhumane act subjected Reba to severe heat stroke and respiratory distress, nearly costing her life.

Instances of animal abandonment and cruelty are becoming more frequent in the area, and it is crucial to address this alarming trend with the utmost seriousness. The individuals responsible for this horrific act must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law to deter future occurrences and ensure justice for Reba.

I urge your office to prioritize the investigation and prosecution of those responsible for this cruel act, demonstrating a firm stance against animal cruelty in Nevada. This case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of enforcing strict penalties for such inhumane behavior to protect vulnerable animals from suffering.

Sincerely,

  1. Please find this SOB and make him suffer as he has caused Reba to suffer. Reba still isn’t in decent condition even though vets are giving her the best care. Find this perp and force him to pay all medical bills for Reba and if he can’t do it make his family pay. This is probably the work of mentally ill teenagers. Anyone who would do this to an animal is mentally ill and needs hospitalization. Let families pay for such hospitalization. Why these people live is beyond me. They hurt, they kill, they cause only suffering. Our laws are broken, our legal system is in shambles, but it’s only animals, right? Wrong. In the future it will be kids, women, anything these bullies can harm. The long arm of the law needs to harm them!

  2. I read this sweet baby passed away on 7/27/24 due to someone doing this to her!!! HORRIFIC!!! Find this subhuman garbage and make him pay!!!!

  3. Julie Bates says:

Now if your laws had any balls that sob should be taped and left in the HEAT… ARIZONA HEAT for 2 hrs to burn
    Bulldogs are extremely breeds.😢😢😢😢

  4. Pls catch the murderer and make him/her rot in prison!
