Justice for Severely Malnourished French Bulldog Reportedly Abandoned in Desert

Target: Bill Hicks, District Attorney, El Paso County, Texas

Goal: Urge the immediate prosecution of Marco Trent Butler for animal cruelty, ensuring he faces the full extent of the law, if found guilty.

In a deeply distressing case of animal cruelty, Marco Trent Butler from East El Paso has been arrested and charged after a severely malnourished French Bulldog was reportedly abandoned in a desert area. The investigation revealed a video reportedly showing the emaciated dog, leading authorities to identify Butler as the owner. Upon discovery, the dog was apparently in an alarming state of malnutrition and dehydration, conditions that a veterinarian reported had likely developed over two to three months.

The French Bulldog has since been rescued and placed under the care of MuttLove Dog Rescue. Butler, who was taken into custody, faces charges of cruelty to a non-livestock animal. He has been booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with a bond set at $45,000 by Judge H. Acosta.

This incident highlights the urgent need for stringent enforcement of animal welfare laws and swift legal action against those who perpetrate such heinous acts of alleged cruelty. Deliver a strong message that animal abuse will not be tolerated.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Hicks,

I am writing to express my deep concern and urge immediate action regarding the recent case of alleged animal cruelty involving Marco Trent Butler from East El Paso. Butler has been arrested and charged after a severely malnourished French Bulldog was reportedly abandoned in a desert area, suffering from extreme neglect.

The investigation revealed a video reportedly showing the emaciated dog, leading to Butler’s reported identification as the owner. The veterinarian’s assessment indicated that the dog’s severe malnutrition and dehydration had developed over two to three months. Such allegedly prolonged suffering suggests a clear violation of animal welfare laws and demonstrates a blatant disregard for the well-being of this helpless animal.

Despite the rescue efforts and current care provided by MuttLove Dog Rescue, the trauma endured by the French Bulldog underscores the necessity for justice. It is imperative that Butler faces the full extent of the law to serve as a deterrent against future acts of animal cruelty, if found guilty.

I strongly urge you to ensure that Marco Trent Butler, if found guilty, is punished to the fullest extent under animal cruelty laws and to advocate for stronger measures to protect animals in our community. The justice system must send a clear message that such allegedly inhumane treatment of animals will not be tolerated.

Your prompt action in this matter is crucial to upholding the principles of justice and compassion within our society.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. Marco Trent Butler must face a long sentence in jail for animal cruelty and premeditated murder of his pet. Lifetime ban on pet ownership too!

  2. This is a horrifying story. A lone French Bulldog faces a desert. Two to three months of being alone, starving, thirsty, but abandoned and unable to help himself. That is so frightening. I’m not sure I could make it out of that type of hell. Butler needs to face the same as he gave his French Bulldog. This make no sense but the abuse flashes like a neon light! His jerk must pay all medical costs, rehoming costs and foster costs. If he cab’t pay then take everything he owns, sell it and use the money to pay for the costs of his actions. Butler needs to NEVER own, work with or be around other animals for the rest of his twisted life. He isn’t insane but he IS a MONSTER!
