Demand Justice for English Bulldog Reportedly Drowned in Cage Weighed With Rocks

Target: Flynn D. Broady, Jr., District Attorney of Cobb County, Georgia

Goal: Ensure severe legal penalties for the alleged drowning of a bulldog to prevent future animal cruelty.

In July, a distressing incident was reported in Cobb County, where a young English Bulldog was allegedly found drowned at the bottom of the Chattahoochee River, enclosed in a cage weighed down with rocks. This appalling case has sparked outrage and demands for justice. According to authorities, the necropsy results from UGA confirmed that the cause of death was drowning, not merely improper disposal of the body.

The dog, microchipped and identified, led investigators to Timorro Rogo, who is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, a felony. Steve Hammond, Director of Cobb County Animal Services, emphasized the tragedy of this case, noting the high demand for English Bulldogs and the ease with which the dog could have been rehomed through legal and compassionate means. This act’s alleged cruelty highlights a grave disregard for life and the need for stringent legal repercussions to deter such heinous acts in the future.

This case not only illustrates a brutal act of alleged animal cruelty but also underscores a significant societal issue: the need for stronger enforcement of animal welfare laws and community awareness. Ensure that justice is served and set a precedent that animal cruelty will be met to the fullest extent of the law.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Flynn D. Broady, Jr.,

We write to you as concerned citizens and as voices for those who cannot speak for themselves. The recent case of the alleged drowning of a 2-year-old English Bulldog in Cobb County has shocked and deeply disturbed all who have learned of it. This heinous act, involving a defenseless animal allegedly encased in a cage and drowned in the Chattahoochee River, demands not only our attention but swift and decisive legal action.

The details of this case are particularly egregious: the dog’s body was reportedly found at the river’s bottom, trapped inside a cage with rocks weighing it down, ensuring its fate. This methodical preparation suggests a premeditated act of cruelty that is unimaginable to our community’s conscience. We urge you to pursue this case with the seriousness it warrants, applying every legal avenue available to prosecute and penalize the individual allegedly responsible.

We implore you to make this case a priority, sending a clear message that animal cruelty has severe consequences. By enforcing stringent penalties, we can deter future atrocities and foster a community that respects and protects all its members, regardless of species. We trust in your commitment to justice and in your role as an advocate for the voiceless.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. Just like South Dakota governor Noem killing her 14 month old bird dog puppy, if I can’t train this dog then it should die! This living breathing companion is just property!
    Horrible!

Can you imagine someone trapping you in a cage and slowly lowering you down into the water where you take your last breath what a horrible death and what a truly evil thing to do to one of God’s creations.

I hope that the judge gives the maximum penalty to this person and makes an example out of them and send them to prison not just jail prison for many years.

If people don’t want animals why don’t they just leave them somewhere like at the animal control like other normal people do instead of torturing them like this and getting rid of them in such an evil manner.
