It is encouraging to read the legal system in America will stand up for animals who are voiceless. This is a tragedy which did not have to occur. These two people are really monsters. They need to receive a sentence which is miserable enough to ensure they never do this again. If they have kids, I hope they don’t turn into their parents. The poor puppy had just begun life when it ended so painfully. Our legal system must speak up for the innocent as they suffer greatly. Why should this couple live easy, breathe well while they end the life of a little puppy? There must be a ban placed on these people which forbids them from ever owning, working with, or being near any animals for the rest of their miserable lives. This info must show on their driver’s license. If they are insane take them off the streets and place them in an institution. They need to be in prison for many years.
