Dalmatian Reportedly Found With Protruding Bones Due to Neglect Deserves Justice

Target: Ken Paxton, Texas Attorney General

Goal: Prompt a comprehensive investigation into the alleged animal cruelty case involving Harvey, a 3-year-old Dalmatian.

A distressing case of animal cruelty has surfaced in McAllen, Texas. Harvey, a Dalmatian, aged three, was reportedly discovered in an alarmingly emaciated state. Photos depicting his condition, which appear to show protruding bones, sparked outrage on social media. Katherine Lopez, a local resident, found Harvey, describing him as a “walking skeleton” on Bentsen Road. Her immediate response to rescue Harvey underscores the apparent severity of his plight.

The dog, located three miles from his owners’ residence, was subsequently taken to Yaqui Animal Rescue. Board Member Rebecca Arizmendi expressed shock at Harvey’s condition, emphasizing his miraculous survival. Veterinarians involved confirmed that Harvey’s starvation appeared intentional, contradicting claims by the owners’ family that he was healthy before he went missing.

Further investigations reportedly revealed two more dogs in questionable conditions under the care of the same owners, Yazmin and Edgar Perez. This discovery raises serious concerns about ongoing neglect and maltreatment of animals in their custody. McAllen city spokeswoman Xochitl Mora has emphasized the importance of reporting such abuse. Demand action now.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Attorney General Paxton,

We are deeply concerned about the alleged case of animal cruelty involving Harvey, a Dalmatian in McAllen, Texas. Harvey’s rescue, marked by his apparently dire condition, highlights a potential grievous violation of animal welfare.

As the state’s attorney general, your leadership is pivotal in addressing such atrocities. We urge you to ensure a thorough investigation into this case. It is crucial that Harvey’s case not only brings awareness but also leads to tangible actions against those responsible for such neglect.

This petition seeks your intervention to ensure that animal cruelty laws in Texas are stringently enforced. We ask that you work with relevant authorities to hold Harvey’s owners accountable. Their actions, as alleged, represent a blatant disregard for animal welfare and should be met with appropriate legal consequences.

Harvey’s plight is a stark reminder of the responsibilities we bear towards animals in our care. Your role in advocating for their welfare and ensuring justice in cases of cruelty is invaluable.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. Texas law if beyond strict for abortion cases including the most recent in which the Texas Supreme Court denied a medical abortion. Yet … you will allow harm, torture, even death to the animals and put up with humans continuing to do these heinous acts over and over again.
To help stop these merciless people give them the same punishment as you do for attempted abortion. Make their lives miserable! These are people taking advantage of animals due to their being too cowardly to impair a person, unless seeking a medical abortion. The law is tough but the law MUSTR be tough for humans without any conscious.

  2. So, let me guess… the other two dogs were left with their garbage humans.

  3. Permanent ban for pet ownership plus max jailterm for these 2 evil scumbags for intentionallly subjecting these poor dogs to long term pain and sufferings!

  4. Didn’t even need to read this to know it was Texas, these people seem to really hate animals, unless they can sell them to a slaughterhouse that is. It is illegal to torture, maim, starve or generally abuse an animal so why aren’t these two in jail? Followed by huge fines and a lifetime ban on animal contact. The truth is, they should go to prison for life but I’ll be surprised if they even get a slap on the wrist.

Their names are Edgar and Yazmin Perez of McAllen TX. They still have the 2 huskies.
