Goal: Advocate for strict punishment of the perpetrators who bound a dog’s muzzle with rubber bands.
A helpless and malnourished dog, later named Marigold, was found abandoned in a park with rubber bands tightly wrapped around her mouth. The bands cut her to the bone and maggots filled the wounds as she struggled to breathe. The perpetrator is currently unknown.
The cruelty inflicted upon Marigold is not only a blatant violation of our moral duty to protect and care for animals but also a violation of laws governing animal welfare. Such acts of cruelty cause immense pain, suffering, and lasting trauma to innocent beings.

Marigold is a very precious sweet adorable dog deserving mercy through and by the justice system in detectives taking the valuable time and effort in identifying and locating all and whoever who did this to her. This is heartbreaking what happened to this dog. A dog, an innocent being, was intentionally disfigured by an act so cruel that this case deserves justice. I hope the picture of this dog is on a sign and or advertised in Philadelphia so that there is a possible chance that someone, some where knows this dog and or who do this. This act of cruelty was not done by a human but rather by an evil and heartless piece of crap that does not deserve the air that they breathe.
I hate that it feels like the only way to make people take crimes like this seriously is to bring up the link between animal cruelty and violence toward humans. This poor dog suffered just as much as any human…that should be enough to treat this crime with the seriousness it deserves.
