Save Bumblebees From Deadly Pesticides Before It’s Too Late

Target: Mr. Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Canada

Goal: Advocate for the protection of the bumblebee, which is threatened by pesticide use and habitat loss, through the development of stronger regulations and conservation efforts.

Bumblebees are important pollinators that play a crucial role in maintaining healthy ecosystems and contributing to the world’s food supply. However, bumblebees are facing significant threats due to the use of pesticides and habitat loss. Pesticides have been shown to have adverse effects on bumblebee populations, including reducing their ability to forage and reproduce, while habitat loss due to human activities such as land development has resulted in a decline in their populations.

To address this issue, we must take immediate action to protect bumblebees. The use of pesticides must be regulated and controlled to minimize their impact on bumblebees and other pollinators, and efforts must be made to preserve and restore their habitats.

Through stronger regulations and conservation efforts, we can help to protect the bumblebee and ensure their continued contribution to the health of our ecosystems and food supply. Take action on this issue that requires urgent attention to protect our planet.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Minister Guilbeault,

I am writing to urge you to advocate for the protection of the bumblebee, which is threatened by pesticide use and habitat loss, through the development of stronger regulations and conservation efforts.

Bumblebees are essential pollinators that play a vital role in maintaining healthy ecosystems and supporting our food supply. However, they are facing significant threats due to the use of pesticides and habitat loss. Pesticides have been shown to have adverse effects on bumblebee populations, including reducing their ability to forage and reproduce, while habitat loss has resulted in a decline in their populations.

To address this issue, we must take immediate action to protect bumblebees. The use of pesticides must be regulated and controlled to minimize their impact on bumblebees and other pollinators. Furthermore, efforts must be made to preserve and restore their habitats, including the creation of bumblebee-friendly habitats in urban and rural areas.

We urge you to take immediate action and support the protection of the bumblebee through the development of stronger regulations and conservation efforts. This will help to preserve their contribution to the health of our ecosystems and food supply.

Sincerely,

If you enjoy and need to eat then you must protect pollinators who are already being killed at an alarming rate.

This is a no-brainer so why do leaders need to be told what the right thing to do is? If we lose bees, we lose our food!

    Pollinators pollinate for FREE!
The polluting corporations that mindlessly drive our pollinators to extinction will have to pay billions of dollars to do the same job if pollinators go extinct. The corporate GREED is very short-sighted!

I support the protection of the bumblebee and the minister of Canada should protect these species for the sake of our eco system.

For ions now man has made products with ingredients that harm everyone without and thought to the short and long term consequences. One of the many reasons this planet is so messed up.

You would have thought that ALL ingredients that go in to any product whether it is ingestible or otherwise would have been carefully researched and thought out. But no… don’t wonder why things on this planet are so damaged!

It is so sad that here we are in 2023 and we are still talking about harmful pesticides that should have been eradicated long before. WHO THE HELL IS STEERING THIS MESSED UP PLANET. GET NEW BODIES IN THAT WILL ACTUALLY THINK FOR A SAFER/CLEANER PRESENT AND FUTURE !!
