Puppy Reportedly Stuffed in Bag Inside Locked Trunk by Alleged Drug Dealers Deserves Justice

Target: Columbia County, Washington Prosecuting Attorney Dale Slack

Goal: Give prison sentence to people who reportedly locked dog inside trunk in hot weather while trying to conduct a drug deal.

A puppy was allegedly locked inside a trunk for over two hours while the car was turned off in 70-degree weather. Riley M. Walters and Chloey A. Cairns were arrested shortly afterwards. They need to spend time in prison if they are found guilty of this heartless abuse.

According to reports, the animal was stuffed inside a zipped-up storage bag with the nose sticking out. A drill was allegedly sitting on top of the bag when police discovered the animal. It was also claimed the puppy was emaciated and that a pungent smell of waste was coming from the vehicle.

Officers further allegedly found 80 fentanyl pills, 500 Xanax pills, and 14.6 grams of methamphetamines inside the car, some of which Walters and Cairns apparently intended to deliver. They are both being held on animal cruelty and drug related charges. Sign this petition to demand they spend time behind bars if they are found guilty of these horrific infractions.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Prosecuting Attorney Slack,

Riley M. Walters and Chloey A. Cairns were brought up on second degree animal cruelty charges and for the possession of drugs with the intent to deliver them to someone after officers allegedly found a puppy trapped inside a bag in their trunk and pills inside their car. They need to be given a strict legal sentence if it is found they committed these acts to better ensure other animals and people will be less likely to be harmed by their actions.

Officers stated that a heavy drill had been placed on top of the bag containing the puppy and that the animal was extremely thin. Authorities further reported that a strong smell of urine was coming from the car where the dog was found. Although they were able to rescue the puppy, the stress that the animal experienced during the alleged incident may prove difficult to overcome, as studies show that dogs in these situations oftentimes continue to show signs of anxiety, including aggression and avoidance, even after being adopted by loving families.

Walters and Cairns will be tried on animal abuse charges and for possessing substances with the intent to either sell or give them to another party. For these reasons, I demand you suggest they spend the maximum amount of time in prison if it is found they are responsible for committing these inexcusable crimes.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. These heartless scumbags should be locked in a bag and in the trunk of a car – see how they like it. People like this don’t deserve the air that they breathe. Punish them SEVERELY for the suffering and TRAUMA they caused this poor helpless dog. This is unconscionable and unacceptable.

  2. What makes me want to bet that they will go up on drug charges, while the animal abuse charge is dropped? If that happens, I hope they are in prison a long time where they can no longer hurt any animals.

    • Barb Garrison says:

I totally agree. Judges look at animal cruelty like a slap on the wrist, and I doubt these scumbags would have gone to jail at all, if not for the drug charges.

  3. One of the most used words allegedly. Never really means guilty though. Not too sure why things are reported as allegations made, ect. These sound very guilty to me, poor innocent dog just another victim of ruthless evil low lives.

    • Wendy, we live in the USA. Not China or Russia. We have a legal system that works. Presumed innocent until proven guilty. Thank God for our men & women in blue. Sounds like they did a job well done. Time. And the pup is safe.

    • Naila M Johnston says:

      Amen, Wendy,!!

  4. These CRUEL UDIOTS NEED TO VE STUFFED IN A BAG AND PUT INSIDE A TRUNK OF A CAR WITH CEMENT CUNDERS ON TOP OF THOSE BAGS WHEN THE TEMPERATURES ARE BOVE 80 DEGREES.

  5. Raymond Stevens says:

The scum that did this should lose his miserable, fucking, useless, worthless life.

  6. Brenda Collins says:

I am a firm believer that animal abuse laws should be changed to “an eye for an eye”. Whatever these scumbags do to animals – the same should be done to them! Maybe then they might think twice before doing these horrific acts to animals.

  7. Elease M. Bradford says:

The behavior of Walters and Cairns is despicable. This poor puppy had to suffer being locked in the trunk of a car and possibly suffocating or having a heatstroke, while his pet parents were doing something illegal. They need to be punished. I hope this fur baby fully recovers, gets a loving home and gets justice.

  8. Thyese vile scumags most definately must have the death penalty implemented and nothing less!

  9. A slow and agonising death is essentially required for these vile animal abusing scumbags.

  10. Maria Lavorato says:

Riley M. Walters and Chloey A. Cairns are a danger to animals and people! Maximum charges for animal cruelty and related drug possession charges is the very minimum punishment they should get. They should have a taste of the agony they doled out to the little pup. Jail time with meals is too good for these maniacs!

Please don’t punish this little pup for being aggressive or having anxiety. He is innocent. Rehabilitate the little pup and get the two perps to pay for medical bills. Please find him a safe forever home once he is ready…

  11. Shirley Lemieux says:

Pathetic World we live in with so many criminals, so much abuse, abusing the most innocent of victims. This puppy is the equivalent of a human baby and this is what our drug society does to this developing baby. If these criminals received harsh Justice for their crimes then they would think twice about committing more crimes of this nature.

  12. Drugs to kill and abuse humans. And these scum torture and abuse innocent animals. Prosecute to the Max. Make them pay for All medical costs, training fees, any and all costs to give the puppy a chance. NEVER let these scumbags be around animals in any way. None. Never.

  13. Agree all comments stuff this fucker in bag and leave for good. Illegal to sell drugs as well so get rid of them dont need cruel cunts in this world. No excuse .

Bury them alive in the desert.

  17. Animals shall NOT be VICTIMS of human sadistic psychopaths and drug-addicts. Animal cruelty shall be treated as any human cruelty.
This dog deserves justice – just like YOU and ME!
MANY YEARS BEHIND BARS for this human criminal scum!

  18. Jacquie. “ says:

Those 2 are evil. Besides prison, they should be locked in a hot trunk in a plastic bag as part of their punishment !!!
