Two Dead Dogs and 57 Other Animals Reportedly Found Starving to Death Deserve Justice

Target: Newton County, Missouri Prosecutor Will Lynch

Goal: Provide justice for animals that were allegedly found living in filthy conditions without food or water.

Fifty-seven dogs and several cats were rescued after many of them were allegedly found in poor health without access to adequate food and water. It is important that the person allegedly responsible for these crimes receive a harsh sentence and no longer be allowed to have pets to prevent similar future tragedies.

While police have not released the name of the suspect, they did state that some deceased animals were found on the man’s property. Witnesses said that his other dogs had been running around the area, which reportedly led to one of them being hit by a car. According to officers, two of the dogs died shortly after being discovered, even after being provided with proper food and water. Reports state that some of the dogs were living in crates that were filled with waste. A Dachshund and cat were further allegedly crammed inside a crate together without food or water.

Authorities claim that the property was not habitable because of a prior fire and that the dwelling had no power or water access. The man further allegedly threatened to blow up the local police station if any of his animals were taken from his property. The suspected individual is currently being evaluated by mental health officials. Sign this petition to demand justice for these innocent animals if it is found they were harmed, neglected or killed by this person.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Prosecutor Lynch,

A man is currently being observed during a 96-hour hospital watch after many dogs and cats were allegedly found dead or living in poor conditions without food or water on his property. It is important that justice is served for these animals if they were mistreated so that more creatures will be less likely to be harmed.

Deceased animals were reportedly found at the residence. It is also claimed that one dog was run over by a car while running around loose. Authorities claimed that two dogs were so sick that they died shortly after they were rescued and that some of the animals were living in feces filled crates. They also stated a dog and cat were being held in a small crate together and that they had no room to move around, or any way to gain access to water or food.

According to reports, the property had no power or water access because it had previously been destroyed by a fire. The man also allegedly threatened to blow up the police department if authorities seized his animals. For these reasons, I demand you suggest the accused party no longer be allowed to be around animals and that he receive an appropriate sentence as well as professional counseling if he is found guilty of such blatant animal cruelty.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. Someone else who will get off lightly because of ‘mental incompetence’. Even if he is incompetent he should be monitored and never allowed near animals again. Give these animals some justice.

    • Elaine Smith says:

Justice is needed for these furbabies and the alien to be locked away, lose the keys. So upsetting 😞 to imagine the suffering of these babies at the hands of this ‘alien’.

    • Joyce O'Malley says:

This guy sounds like a wack job – take these animals away to safe shelter

  2. this thing belong’s locked up for good

  3. Thanks to the good Lord for saving the rest of these poor animals that have been suffering for so long I pray for them every single day.
I don’t care if this man is mentally deranged stick him in a sanitarium in a jail cell, a padded cell any kind of cell and lock the door and never open it up he is sick and that is demented and crazy and he should not be let out into society again ever!

  4. Margaret Burlingham says:

Isn’t Ohio a state where dog breeding proliferates? How about non-biased Justice and remove all the animals, surrendering them all to rescue organizations and not to kill-shelters? Héros for saving the dogs one day then euthanizing them when no one is watching – that happens too often. Save these animals and crack down on irresponsible breeders.

  5. what the fuck is wrong with people?

  6. tamara beinlich says:

This happens to be the county next to me. Here in Missouri we passed laws to protect the animals with stronger mandatory sentences but the republicans threw out our vote because farmers were afraid they would be held accountable the same way as puppy mills etc. Nearly nothing will happen to this guy because republicans overturned the will of the people!

  7. There MUST be stronger or at least strong punishment for animal abusers!

  8. How disgusting and sickening and despicable this situation is. This individual is mentally deranged and needs not only psychiatric care but JAIL TIME also. The cruelty inflicted upon these poor helpless animals is unconscionable and unacceptable. The pain, fear, suffering, starvation and TRAUMA they experienced is unthinkable.

  9. Michelle Stewart says:

That bastard is guilty. All the proof was there to see. I hope the animals can be helped. RIP to the animals that did not survive. No animal should ever have to live in conditions like that. The animals must never be given back to him. He must be locked up for life with no early parole. He must pay a $500,000 fine, and be banned for life from owning or going near any animals ever again

  10. These abusers need to go to prison. Man up prosecutors and do something other than a little slap on the wrist.

  11. Nadine+brundage says:

This scum of the earth needs to be permanently placed in the nearest mental institution, one less sicko abuser walking the planet. Feel terrible for what those innocent animals had to endure at the hands of this monster. Let justice for the voiceless be served.

  12. Lock him up. He is a dangerous man. No pet animal or person is safe with him on the loose. He sounds mentally crazy.
    Prayers sweet babies and Godspeed!

  13. I HATE FUCKING HOARDERS.

  14. This is horrible and disgusting!! Sounds like a very disturbed and sick individual. He should be permanently institutionalized and never ever allowed animals!! Those poor dogs and cats. So so sad!!!

  15. Get this mental case asshole away from the property and the animals, put him away forever away from every living animal!

  16. GAIL Stanton says:

Do we even have to wonder what country this is in?

  17. This CRUEL ASSHOLE DESERVE THE EXACT TREATMENT AS HE DISHED OUT TO ALL THESE INNOCENT ANIMALS FOR THE REST OF HIS MISERABLE LIFE!! He should NEVER BE ALLOWED TO ADOPT, OWN, AND BE NEAR ANY MORE ANIMALS FOR THE REST OF HIS MISERABLE LIFE after and while in prison!!!!

  18. EVIL PEOPLE!!! Do the same to them!

  19. How is this guy a suspect? Wasn’t it his property? House needs torched with him in it. I Don’t know why the law protects these parasites. Somebody knows where this is. It had to be obvious with all that going on.

  20. patricia schwartzman says:

MAYBE THAT MAN LOVES HIS ANIMALS BUT IF HE IS ALREADY OLD, YOU HAVE TO CONSIDER THAT EITHER HE IS SHORT OF MONEY OR THAT HIS BRAIN MIGHT BE ‘MISSING A SCREW’…

    • Milantia Roy says:

In all probability, he is an animal lover, and it is possible that he does not have the same income that allowed him to support all those animals he might have rescued and support through all those years.
