Success: Biden Pulls U.S. Support From War in Yemen

Target: President Joe Biden

Goal: Applaud the withdrawal of U.S. support from the Saudi-led conflict in Yemen.

For years the people of Yemen have been suffering the negative impacts of war at home. The Saudi- led conflict has received various forms of support from the U.S., including intelligence and weapons. That is until Biden came through on a campaign promise to withdraw U.S. support.

The announcement was met with a shared sigh of relief by the millions of people who have been working to inform the public of the horrors that have been inflicted on the Yemenis people since their civil unrest broke out into war. It was a moment of pure relief to hear you announce that the U.S. would no longer be providing offensive support to the Saudi-led conflict in Yemen. The war has gone on for too long and has escalated as a result of weapons provided by the U.S. 

I want to thank you for following through on the promise you made regarding this issue during your campaign, and for hearing and honoring the desire of the people to end U.S. involvement. I hope this will lead to a shift in foreign policy and that the U.S will step up in distributing humanitarian aid to the people of Yemen.
