A Washington County Circuit Court jury found Vickie West guilty of four misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty. The shocking case, detailed in this ForceChange petition, involved dogs living in cages filled with several inches of their own feces. Their fur was saturated with urine, and many of the animals were emaciated and sick. Multiple animal rescue groups came forward, stating that West had adopted animals from different locations and later claimed they had died.

Glad some justice was done, but is not near enough. That scumbag animal abuser should serve years in jail, not a month. She should be ordered to never be around or own an animal ever again.
