Sanctuary Animals Allegedly Injured During Unauthorized Intrusions: Seek Justice

Target: Nicolas Duvinage, Colonel, Groupement de Gendarmerie Départementale des Bouches-du-Rhône, Marseille, France

Goal: Conduct a full investigation and pursue all lawful penalties if evidence supports allegations that sanctuary animals were reportedly injured during repeated unauthorized intrusions.

Authorities intensified a criminal investigation after additional complaints were filed concerning recurring incidents at an animal sanctuary and educational farm. Staff conducting routine welfare checks discovered multiple animals with injuries that prompted emergency reporting and forensic review.

Several goats and a six-month-old lamb were found with fresh injuries, including rope marks and lacerations. Authorities collected physical evidence from the property, including discarded materials and surveillance footage, while increasing patrol activity around the site. Investigators suspect that unauthorized entries may have occurred repeatedly, although no suspect has been identified in connection with these newly reported incidents and no charges have been filed.

Sanctuaries exist to provide care and safety for vulnerable animals and repeated interference may place animals at ongoing risk. Continued investigation and appropriate enforcement remain essential.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Colonel Duvinage,

Authorities responded after personnel at an animal sanctuary discovered injuries affecting animals under protected care and later initiated additional investigative measures. According to public statements, physical evidence and recorded footage may help determine whether unauthorized access contributed to the injuries. Increased patrol activity reflects continuing concern regarding potential future incidents while the investigation remains active.

Please ensure that this matter receives a complete and careful investigation. If investigators determine that animals endured preventable suffering through unlawful intrusion or mistreatment, appropriate accountability should follow under applicable law.

Sincerely,
