Over 215 animals received care during a recent spay/neuter clinic, a powerful testament to the need for proactive measures and community assistance. Yet, the underlying issues that led to such a crisis remain largely unaddressed, allowing chronic negligence to prevail, and failing these vulnerable creatures who rely on human compassion and responsibility.
To truly protect the welfare of animals in Puerto Rico, it is imperative that those responsible for any negligence or mistreatment are held accountable.
