Demand Justice for 16 Cats Allegedly Abandoned and Left to Die in Squalor

Target: Jenna Wallace, District Attorney of Lincoln County, OR

Goal: Ensure man faces appropriate punishment for allegedly abandoning and abusing numerous cats, resulting in the tragic deaths of 16 innocent animals.

Countless lives have been shattered due to the alleged actions of Matthew Krautkramer, a 35-year-old man from Merrill, who is facing nearly 50 counts of animal abuse. Authorities say they discovered 16 deceased cats in his home, revealing a horrifying scene of neglect and cruelty. Reportedly, Krautkramer abandoned 17 cats when he moved in with his girlfriend, claiming he asked someone to care for them—only for that individual to assert he never made such a request.

The investigation unveiled what seems to be disturbing evidence of negligence, including empty water bowls and food left in a laundry basket for the cats. It is reported that litter boxes were overflowing and the floors were littered with feces, further compounding the horrific conditions these animals were forced to endure. The heart-wrenching reality that these animals were seemingly left to die in their own home cannot be ignored. Immediate action must be taken to ensure that such alleged cruelty is met with the maximum legal consequences.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Wallace,

The alleged actions of Matthew Krautkramer have resulted in the tragic loss of 16 cats. Reports indicate that he left these innocent animals without food and water, leading to their untimely deaths. The investigation revealed that Krautkramer seemingly failed to provide adequate care or even basic sustenance, which has left a community in shock and mourning for these lives lost.

We urge you to pursue the most severe penalties allowed under the law against Matthew Krautkramer for the alleged abandonment and mistreatment of these animals. Let it be known that such behavior will not be tolerated, and that the lives of precious animals deserve protection and respect.

Sincerely,
