Experts have warned that the proposed large glass structures pose disastrous risks for climate change and bird migration, potentially leading to increased mortality rates among affected species.
To shield itself from accountability, the Ontario government enacted the Rebuilding Ontario Place Act, which eliminates the public’s ability to sue the government for potential harm.
