The incident came to light after a local feeder shared the CCTV clip in a neighbourhood group. Volunteers who rushed to the location reportedly found the body of the puppy, while the remaining puppies from the litter were missing and feared to be at risk. A formal complaint was subsequently filed by an animal welfare organisation, and police identified a suspect who is believed to have gone into hiding.
Alleged acts of extreme violence against animals raise serious concerns about public safety and law enforcement effectiveness. When such cruelty is reportedly captured on camera, swift arrest and strong prosecution are essential.
