Many farmers are reportedly trapped in the industrial animal agriculture system, facing a relentless cycle of debt known as the “debt treadmill.” This model, which limits autonomy and exacerbates financial instability, subjects farmers to dire emotional and financial distress. As they struggle to survive, the need for a shift away from this exploitative system has become increasingly crucial. It is essential that those profiting from industrial animal agriculture are held accountable for driving these farmers into unfavorable circumstances.

Structures designed for animal agriculture can be repurposed for sustainable growth, presenting an attractive alternative; yet, the pressure tactics used by industrial entities often discourage farmers from pursuing these reformative actions.
It is absolutely necessary to foster a supportive environment that allows for the transition from industrial animal agriculture to sustainable practices. Immediate action is required to support farmers wishing to reclaim their autonomy and build resilient agricultural practices that benefit both the economy and the environment.

I agree Industrial Farming is disgusting hell holes of Animal cruelty…violence….disease breakouts from overcrowding,, culling (millions of Animals wasted). Animals are suffering from the day they are born till the day they’re cruelly killed… Never walk on grass…Never breath fresh air.. Their first walk (if they can) is while they are beaten, screamed at and/or thrown onto transport trucks, travelling in all weather,,, many die & it’s a terrifying (some long distances) to hellish slaughter houses… Factory farmed Animals are never ever shown any form of compassion, they suffer so much when compared to “NORMAL” farming where Animals can be free to move & be able to tend their babies naturally.. NOT the MISERY PAIN & SUFFERING OF LIVING IN A CAGE OR STINKY SHED! The difference is Enormous! The Farmers…. They should NOT be forced to farm this way.
